G.I. Joe Sierra Muerte (a review)

I should probably open with a disclaimer: I’m not a fan of G.I. Joe. It’s not that I hate the franchise or anything, I just never got into it. My childhood was mostly spent playing with dolls and pretending to be a normal little girl. But I still always loved action movies and other “boy” stuff so G.I. Joe wouldn’t have been too out of the ballpark for me.

I don’t know.

Recently, I’m starting to branch out to popular “boy” franchises like Conan the Barbarian, Judge Dredd, and, of course, G.I. Joe. Sometimes, you just need a good old testosterone-filled story about buff dudes (and girls) punching evil in the face. I decided to review G.I. Joe: Sierra Muerte since it looked like a nice, short story that’ll give me a taste of what I’m getting into.

Also, the only other G.I. Joe book I have is the G.I. Joe: Best of Snake-Eyes collection so please forgive me if I get specific bits of the lore wrong.
