Well, hello again, Morrison.
I know I reviewed a comic by them before and will probably do so a few more times in the future. In my defense, you can’t throw a stone into the comics world without somehow hitting them in the head twice. Not only were they part of the British invasion of comics back in the late eighties/early nineties, but they wrote for a couple heavyweight characters such as Batman, the X-men, and Superman.
They’re considered a controversial figure in the medium due to them shaking up long standing superhero relationships (romantic and otherwise), their surrealist takes on pretty much everything, and generally being considered bat**** crazy to the average reader. However, they’re one of the modern greats and a lot of fans hold them in high regard.
I like them.
Today I thought it would be neat to review two of their works that have been bundled into a hardback, for some reason, that I’m sure only ten people actually remember. Because that’s how you get more clicks on Medium, right? (Right?)
