Come Sail Away to Dreams Uncharted
The fun part about being on the indie comics side of X is you get exposed to all kinds of stuff you won’t find at your local comic shop. While the indie scene isn’t as organized as the mainstream comic industry, some of the best comics I’ve ever read were indie titles. And believe it or not, there are some cool creators out there producing all kinds of unique comics.
One of those creators I’ve digitally bumped into is the account Dreams Uncharted run by writer Web Bleynat. He joined the platform back in 2024 and has been offering free digital comics since day one. I see his posts all the time and have been wanting to check out his books for a while but didn’t for whatever reason. But recently, I finally got sick of my procrastinating goldfish brain and sat down to read all that Dreams Uncharted has available.
As of now, there are two series on the website with one issue (plus a few pages of the next issue) each: Merauder: The Rogue Wave Pirates and High Treason League. Both are advertised as fun, family friendly adventure series and look like something you would see on Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network back in the day. But are they worth the $0 price tag?
