Out of the Jungle
Well, it’s December and I’m battling congestion. I tried to get some writing done on Saturday, but I started developing a sore throat. It got to the point where I wrapped myself in blankets and became a tea-fiend to get rid of what I thought was a cold or strep. I already lost three days at work; I can’t lose any more time! Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on your perspective), the urgent care told me I was just really congested, and it was causing problems throughout my sinuses. So yeah, no sickness but I do have to shoot saline water up my nose periodically. Gotta look on the bright side.
Overall, NaNoWriMo was a 50% success. I got some articles written, my poetry typed out, and at least the first couple pages of Next Evolution #3 written. I’m still a little upset that I wasn’t able to focus on the last week because of my sickness and congestion, but I’ll take what I can get. Now that it’s all over, I have a lot of things I need to do. Comic books need printing, websites need to be built, all that jazz.
Thank you for joining me on this journey and I hope you come back for next year!
