So this is New Year's (2022 is over)

Huh, it’s New Years. Well that came sooner than expected.

2022 has been an absolute roller coaster of a year on all fronts; at least for me. I got a new job, was able to pay off my car, published a poetry book, and made a good dent in the editing process with the short story book that I’m dying to get done. Then I ended the year with a bang by going to GalaxyCon and driving all the way down to Florida to see my sister. Overall, it was a pretty great year.

Not everything turned out the way I wanted, though. Halfway through the year, I ended a close friendship and had a couple financial setbacks that made life stressful. I’m okay now but that was not a fun time.

But perhaps the biggest surprise for me was the sudden of this blog. You see, in April of 2021, I published my last comic review thinking that I wasn’t coming back here again. I was busy publishing my poetry books at the time and thought I wouldn’t be able to keep up a blog. Then in January of 2022, not long after publishing the last of my books, I caught covid. Thankfully, it was mild but I was still faced with an entire week of quarantine all alone in my apartment. Needless to say, I was bored out of my…
