Spaceships and Gators: A Mike Baron Double Feature
Well, well, well. Welcome back to the blog Mike Baron.
I’ve talked about Mr. Baron a few times on this blog with my articles on Bronze Star and the Rippaverse Double Feature with Goodyng: The Polymath. For those who don’t know, Mike Baron is a legend in the comic book industry known for his time writing for The Flash and The Punisher as well as creating new characters like Badger. Nowadays, Mr. Baron is sticking to the indie scene where he’s found success and has a new project in the works called Sherlock Holmes: Leviathan, which I already backed. I regret not reading more of his industry stuff before, but I’ve decided to read more of his works this year, starting with today’s featured comics.
I believe that’s enough monologuing so let’s get into it.
Nexus: Scourge
According to my research, Nexus is almost entirely Mr. Baron’s intellectual baby. The character debuted back in 1981 and has bounced between a couple of different publishers including Capital Comics and Dark Horse Comics.
