The Great Columbus Coffee Tour of 2022
I’ve been struggling with focusing on editing lately; I don’t know why but I cannot focus on this essential part of the writing process. So, I tried to come up with a few ways to fix this and decided that on my days off, I should go to a coffee shop for a few hours. A change in scenery could help and I always love a good cup of coffee. However, I didn’t want to set up shop at Starbucks because frankly, I don’t like their coffee; it tastes like asphalt to me. And I sure as hell did not want to spend my day at the Waffle House down the street from me (the free entertainment would be too much of a distraction). Then, I had an idea:
Why don’t I take a tour of some of the local coffee places Columbus has to offer?
I could explore new places to do my writing and I would be supporting local businesses. Win/win. So, on Saturday August 20th, I woke up bright and early to visit five coffee places I found on Google in what I like to call The Great Coffee Tour of 2022.
