Writer’s Log #3

I completely forgot to make an entry yesterday. Not because I was busy but because I was lazy for most of the day and waited until nighttime to get stuff done. By the time I finished everything, it was 1 in the morning.

Anyways!

I finally finished the first edit!

This feels great! It’s like a weight lifted off my shoulders getting all that crap done. I’m currently typing out the corrections I made and should have the second edit done by the end of the week. The second edit shouldn’t take as long because this one’s just checking for any small errors. With the first edit, I was fixing problems with the composition, even completely rewriting entire sections. This is especially true for the previously published stories. Funnily enough, some of the newer stories actually predated the previously published and there were less problems with them. Then again, the PP stories were written after I suffered a few years of writer’s block.

Oh well.

As for this blog, I’m trying to get one article written but I keep hitting a wall. I’ll try to get it out by next week along with another one that still requires me to read a few books. Oh the agony! My notes for…
