Yaira #1 (review)
Dang, it’s been a while since I reviewed anything from Rippaverse. Let’s fix that.
Back in my ISOM #1 review, I remarked that I was looking forward to seeing the character Yaira in action. She was all over the promotional art at the time and I was a little disappointed we didn’t see more of her in the book. So, you can imagine my excitement when Yaira #1 was announced. Finally, we were going to get a whole book exploring this mysterious character and get some answers. I had never heard of the writers, Jen and Sylvia Soska, but they have some writing credits with a few horror movies so this could be interesting.
Before we go any further, I need to give a little disclaimer. After ISOM #2, I haven’t been keeping up with the other Rippaverse books for financial reasons. So, there may be a few things I don’t understand due to me being out of the loop. With that said, let’s begin.
